About this overlook
This small pulloff is located between Thunder Hill and Raven Rock. While parking is limited, the overlook offers a wonderful panoramic view of the Yadkin River Valley. The valley has a rich history tied to the Yadkin River and the Saponi people, and the area was once home to Daniel Boone.
