This overlook provides access to Rough Ridge, one of the most popular hikes along the Blue Ridge Parkway. A short hike along the Tanawha Trail leads to rocky outcrops offering breathtaking views of Grandfather Mountain, the Linn Cove Viaduct, and the surrounding mountains.
