Camp Creek Overlook

About this overlook

Camp Creek flows southward alongside the Blue Ridge Parkway for three miles before reaching the overlook. The creek eventually joins the Linville River, which winds through Linville Gorge. A short trail from the parking area leads through the forest to the peaceful sounds of Camp Creek. The surrounding forest is home to white pines and broadleaf trees and was logged in the early 1900s by the Camp brothers of Chicago.
